Bunny and Leona

This is the story of two sisters, Bunny 67, and Leona, 72, torn apart after living together for almost 30 years. Leona had always been the family caregiver. She never married and stayed in the family home to look after her aging parents. After they died she moved in with Bunny to help care for Bunny's sons after her divorce. Then Bunny had a stroke and Leona was unable to look after her. With Bunny in a nursing home Leona would have to move too. "Since I had the stroke, our lives have been ripped apart," says Bunny. Both sisters had to find seniors' homes to live in. This video depicts their very different trajectories upon moving.
