BEERS Criteria for Potentially Inappropriate Medication Use in Older Adults

Recently published studies confirm that inappropriate medication use remains a serious problem for older adults. This DVD provides a case study, using the BEERS criteria, for assessing and monitoring the multiple medications in an older adult patient. The DVD will help to train staff to be aware of the various safety and wellness issues involved when multiple medications are prescribed for older adults. (Part of a 28-DVD training series.)
